Congrats to Mikael Roussel and Todd Bartkowiak on their publication of a review and protocol for polarization of human monocytes and assessment by mass cytometry.

► This peer-reviewed publication provides a detailed protocol for 1) polarizing human monocytes into different subtypes and 2) high dimensional analysis of the resulting cells by mass cytometry.  Polarized cell types include M1 (M_LPS, M_IFNg), M2 (M_IL-4, M_IL-10), and myeloid derived suppressor cells (MDSCs).  Based on Roussel et al., Journal of Leukocyte Biology 2017.
